Toni K. Goodale founded the fund-raising and management consulting firm of Goodale Associates in 1979. Since then, she has worked closely with many clients in education, the performing and visual arts, social services, public affairs and health care. She has provided counsel for capital campaigns and other fund-raising programs at Smith, Middlebury, Brown University, the Fashion Institute of Technology, Wheaton College, City University of New York, Hunter College, Cooper Union, Andover-Phillips Academy, Allen-Stevenson, the YWCA New York City, and The Brearley School.

She has also served Children's National Medical Center (DC), Northern Westchester Hospital Center, NYU Medical Center, Rhode Island Hospital, Columbia-Prespyterian Medical Center, Natural Resources Defense Council and March of Dimes. She has worked with many other leading institutions in New York, including the Whitney Museum, The Museum of the City of New York, Congregation Emanu-El of the City of New York, WNET-Channel 13 and the New York Historical Society. Her firm has handled national and international campaigns for clients such as the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, Planned Parenthood, the London School of Economics, The International Center of Photography, The Washington Opera, The British National Trust and two clients in Brazil.

Ms. Goodale has developed a highly effective method for training volunteers to solicit gifts. She has conducted training workshops for a wide range of non-profits including the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, the Boston Symphony and the Association for Fund-Raising Professionals. Ms. Goodale is a frequent speaker on talk shows and before community and business groups, both here and abroad, on the subject of American philanthropy. 

Ms. Goodale is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who of American Women, Who's Who in Finance and Industry and Who's Who in the East. She is a member of the Women's Forum, Inc. and has served on the Board of Directors of The Authors Guild, New York Public Library, The Brearley School, the New York City Outward Bound Center, PEN American Center, Metropolitan Museum Business Committee, and as an advisor to the U.S. Soccer Organization.

A cum laude graduate of Smith College, Ms. Goodale has more than 30 years experience in the non-profit sector. Prior to establishing Goodale Associates, she headed the Ford Foundation's Internal Research Department and established Smith College's first development office in New York City. She has also served on many volunteer committees for visual and performing arts, education and civic affairs organizations.

Ms. Goodale is married, and has three children and four grandchildren. She is a competitive tennis player and has coached youth ice hockey teams. She is the author of a witty memoir entitled, Oy Vey, I'm Going to Church, available on Amazon.
